Ring Size Guide
Finding the right ring size is essential for comfort and security. At **Corollary Jewels**, we use the **US/Canada** standard sizing system. Please use this guide to accurately measure your size at home.
Method 1: Measure an Existing Ring (Most Accurate)
The best way to determine your size is to measure a ring you already own that fits the intended finger perfectly.
Steps for Method 1:
- **Select a Ring:** Choose a ring that fits the finger you plan to wear your new ring on. (Note: Fingers on your dominant hand are often a half size larger).
- **Measure the Inner Diameter:** Take a ruler (with millimeter measurements) and measure the **straight line distance across the inside center** of the ring. **Do not** include the metal of the ring in your measurement.
- **Match to Chart:** Use the **Ring Diameter** column in the chart below to find your correct **US Ring Size**.

Method 2: Measure Your Finger Circumference (DIY)
If you don't have an existing ring, you can measure your finger directly.
Steps for Method 2:
- **Prepare a Strip:** Cut a thin strip of paper (about 1/4 inch wide) or use a piece of string.
- **Wrap and Mark:** Wrap the paper or string snugly around the base of the intended finger. Mark the point where the paper/string overlaps.
- **Measure the Length:** Lay the strip flat and use a ruler to measure the length in **millimeters (mm)** from the start to your mark. This is your **Circumference**.
- **Match to Chart:** Use the Circumference (MM) in the *comprehensive chart below* to find your correct US Ring Size.
**Crucial Tip:** Ensure the paper or string is wrapped *tightly enough* that it won't fall off but *loose enough* to slide comfortably over your knuckle.

Expert Tips for the Best Fit
- **Measure 3-4 Times:** Your finger size fluctuates throughout the day due to temperature and activity. Measure at the **end of the day** when your fingers are generally at their largest.
- **Temperature Matters:** Avoid measuring when your hands are very cold (fingers are smaller) or very hot/swollen (fingers are larger).
- **Knuckle Check:** If your knuckle is significantly larger than the base of your finger, measure both and choose a size **in between** to ensure it slides on easily but doesn't spin.
- **Band Width:** For **wide band rings** (over 6mm), we recommend choosing a **half size up** from your regular size for the most comfortable fit.
- **Between Sizes:** If your measurement falls between two sizes (e.g., between a 7 and an 8), **always choose the larger size** (the 8).
